Ceramic Coating
A coating is a liquid glass layer that chemically bonds to your clear coat and hardens on it. Water and salt sheet off instead of sitting there, dirt has less to grab, and washing gets dramatically easier. In a state that salts its roads five months a year, it is the single best thing you can do for paint.

Correction and coating · Full exterior
Everything in the ceramic coating.
Correction prep
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, for years. Every coating we install includes at least a one-stage correction first — we will not seal defects under glass.
Panel prep
Every panel wiped down to strip polishing oils. Miss this and the coating bonds to residue instead of clear coat, and fails early.
Coating application
Applied by hand, panel by panel, then leveled in a narrow window. Wheels, glass and trim can be coated as add-ons.
Cure time
The vehicle stays with us while it cures. That is why this runs two to three days, and why it cannot be done in a driveway.
The process, step by step.

- 01
Decontaminate
Wash, iron removal, tar removal and clay. The paint has to be surgically clean.
- 02
Correct
Polish out the defects that would otherwise be sealed in for the life of the coating.
- 03
Prep & coat
Panel wipe-down, then hand application and leveling.
- 04
Cure & hand back
Controlled cure, then a walkthrough on how to wash it so the coating actually lasts.
Is it really worth $800 when a wax is $120?
It depends entirely on how long you are keeping the vehicle. Over two years, a coating usually costs less than the waxes it replaces and it holds up through winter, which wax does not. On a car you are selling next spring, wax is the better buy and we will tell you so.
About ceramic coating.
No. It means washing gets much easier and much safer, because dirt releases instead of needing to be scrubbed. A coated car still needs regular maintenance washes — that is what keeps the warranty valid.
No. A coating is measured in microns; it resists chemicals, UV and staining, not impact. If rock chips are the concern, paint protection film is the answer, and we can point you to it.
This is where it earns its money in Iowa. Salt brine sits on uncoated paint and works into every gap. On a coated surface it rinses off, and a winter maintenance wash takes minutes instead of an afternoon.
